8/3/2021 Route: From California Mountain A Posted On: 8/3/2021, By: supranihilest Info: From California's summit I returned to the Hanson/California saddle, then made an ascending traverse under Hanson across grassy bumps and towards the road above Gold Prince Mine. I made my way to the road west of Point 13,075. The summit is directly above you and looks like it might be hard - it's not. Hike up the steep grass and dirt slopes and go slightly left around the corner to find a set of Class 2 steps to the summit. The fastest way back to the road is the way you came up. |
