7/2/2022 Route: From Wetterhorn Basin Trailhead Posted On: 7/2/2022, By: supranihilest Info: Summer conditions, though it snowed in the Cimarron this afternoon. The Wetterhorn Basin trail up and over the pass with Coxcomb is wet on both sides. I took it to the Coxcomb trail which has a sign but initially isn't even a trail, it's just a series of posts to follow. The junction sign is literally in a swamp. Eventually the trail leads to the Coxcomb/13,206 saddle, where it's then a Class 2+ scramble up loose crap to the summit. |
