10/16/2022 Route: West Ridge from Mount Nebo Posted On: 10/17/2022, By: supranihilest Info: From Mount Nebo we descended a grassy gully towards the lake instead of taking the ridge directly to 13,230 A. The ridge looked pretty dumpy and well, grass is nice. At the bottom of the gully we contoured across boulders to the saddle then scrambled (Class 2+) up the initial steep section of ridge to where it mellowed, then to the summit. We descended 13,230 A's long east ridge back to the CDT and on to the Ute Ridge group of 13ers. |
