11/10/2025 Route: From end of North Fork Henson Creek Rd Posted On: 11/10/2025, By: Will_E Info: Spent the last 3 days working on 13'ers at the north end of the SJ's. Started at the end of North Fork Henson Creek Rd, the end of the road past Wetterhorn Peak TH., road was fine, a few ice flows to get up/down but nothing crazy. Saturday I did Engineer, Darley, 13,140' and Wildhorse, Sunday got Cow Benchmark, unranked 13,093' and Blackwall, today did the loop of Dolly Varden, Unranked 13,094' and Sunshine. No meaningful snow anywhere on the routes, beautiful Fallmer weather and lots of sun. Saw more pikas than humans this weekend, it was fantastic. |
