Route: Wager Gulch-Carson Pass

Info: Started from the bottom of the Carson Pass Road. It's five miles to the pass. Continuous snow starts at 11,300 on the road. Snow was firm after a good freeze overnight. Put on spikes on the final stretch before the pass. From the pass snow not really an issue and where covered the snow was supportive. After summiting Coney BM, I headed over to 13,256. Easy going. The wind picked up by this point so I bagged getting the unranked point. I backtracked to the saddle and dropped back into the gulch. First half was supportive snow then dry after that back to the road. 12.69 miles and 4,351 feet roundtrip.

Info: I did this after climbing Point 13581, so it felt pretty tough to me for such a gentle peak. It's basically an easy dirt road walk from Carson Pass. No snow, no issues. Class 1 hike with tremendous views!

Route: Via Wager Gulch

Info: The Wager Gulch Road is long - nearly five miles one way - but easy. It's covered in ice and thin snow but I had no need for traction and there's not enough snow to worry about wet feet. There was one creek crossing that took some care. Otherwise it's a road, just hike the dang thing. From the pass on the Divide I followed the road towards Coney Benchmark until the Continental Divide Trail split off to the left, then followed that until it met back up with the road, which further split into a secondary road that heads northeast up Coney Benchmark. There's some snow and mud on both the road and the trail but again nothing that should be an issue. Follow the obvious ascent until you reach the summit.
