Info: Been a few years since this one has been updated… skied this today (south face) along with 13573 (nw gully). Approached from cataract gulch, skied up past cataract lake and then east on the CT. Skied tundra first then 13573. Long skin track is set, use it while it’s there! 

Route: West Waterfall Sneak

Info: From Cataract Lake trailhead take the trail 3.8 miles to a large clear area with a wooden pole just off the trail. The view to the east will be of a narrow, cliffy drainage with a waterfall at the bottom. There's a grass ramp to the right of the waterfall that gives access to the upper bowl. Pick through the willows (going right is best, I had about 30 seconds of bushwhacking up/down combined) and take a loose scree trail up the right side of the waterfall. It's mostly tundra from here to "Tundra Top" with some loose scree and talus to cross. The upper couple hundred feet to the summit plateau are all on loose talus but not hard in any way. Class 2 the entire way.
