10/9/2024 Route: North Face Posted On: 10/12/2024, By: supranihilest Info: There's quite a bit of rock hard snow and ice on the north face currently, which looks intimidating but it was almost all avoidable with creativity. The ridge approaching the face is easy and ends in a notch, which can be bypassed with a 10-foot class 3 down climb to climber's right. This could be kept to Class 2+ by backtracking 20 feet and down climbing to the right there instead. Once on the face itself stay to climber's left - the face curves just enough to catch some sun. There's a little bit of unavoidable snow near the bottom of the face but with creative route finding and foot placements the rest is avoidable. There's lots of loose rubble on the face too, but not really enough to be a problem. The face is mostly Class 2+ with little bits of Class 3 thrown in. Easier than it looks. |

7/17/2023 Route: From Peak Six Posted On: 7/18/2023, By: blazintoes Info: This is the kind of technical scrambling I love. The ridge from Six to Seven is spice and everything nice. We hiked all the way up Leviathan to the lake at the base of Leviathan Peak. A little snow up Peak 6s face then a game of pinball on the scree face tagged Peak 6 then stayed ridge proper to Seven. What a blast! We descended Peak 7s north ridge down and around Peak 8 and 9 to known game trails we found day prior. Super fun day! |

9/25/2020 Route: From Lake Silex Posted On: 9/28/2020, By: WildWanderer Info: Summer conditions until last 300' or so, then snow covers the route. I chose to take the ridge to the left (east) to avoid the snow, making for a fun, exposed class 3 scramble. |
