Info: Almost summer conditions. Tiny snow crossings, but nothing where traction or flotation would be necessary. Trail is pretty easy to follow, although the talus section from above the Redcloud saddle around the unnamed point is difficult to follow on the way there (it's obvious on the way back though). 1 pic after turning from the Redcloud saddle, and another looking down the ascent ridge/tundra from by the summit.

Info: via Williams Creek because it was trenched from a skier for 2 miles so I took the bait also with an Achilles heel phone on its last leg I needed to be quick. These peaks are south facing so were much easier to scale and the day was bluebird and beautiful. Pics limited d/t phone about to die but was able to snap a few of the surrounding 14ers for the snowflake chasers. The San Juan's have been getting pounded with snow but the quality is good. Better than the Sawatch. Stay Classy San Juan's.

Info: 4 mile approach from campground to tree line was well tracked for the first two miles, after that snow got deeper and the tracks mostly stopped. Snow was mostly ankle deep except a short stretch (1/3rd mile) of calf-knee deep right below tree line. We did not bring snow shoes and I am honestly glad we didn't as the added weight wouldn't have been worth the benefit of having them for that short distance. Once at/above timberline the mostly south facing route to UN 13,811 was pretty well melted out and a dry route could be had to the summit. The traverse from 13811-13832 had unavoidable snow in spots mostly on east aspects, but the snow was soft and I did not feel the need to use traction or my axe. On the way back to the trail we skirted the bump in the ridge between 13ers on a dry and cairned trail, then contoured around the basin on the SW side of 13,811 to avoid as much extra elevation gain as possible. Overall distance was ~13 miles and 5,700 ft of gain. Once below tree line we followed our now slightly refrozen and punchy trench back out, for what felt like twice as long as the approach (doesn't it always). Weather conditions were perfect and the views are spectacular from both summits.

Info: Ran from the Silver Creek trailhead. Trail is completely snow free and in good shape all the way to the saddle. There's a nice climbers trail that follows the right side (outbound) all the way to the peaks. Not a soul out there.

Info: Route is 100% dry. The traverse from Redcloud saddle looks a lot harder than it is. A good use trail goes all the way to the summit cone. Climb a steep grass/rock slope to the top.

Info: Perfect day in the San Juan's. I took my crampons but never used them. No traction needed. Looked like quite a bit had melted since the last report. Solid dry hiking nearly the whole way. No real need for gaiters either, but I used mine for added warmth in the early AM. Started at 4am from the Williams Creek TH. Moved pretty slow and took in the views. Made 832 around 12pm and back to the car around 3:30pm. Met Keith from Denver up there, but we didn't see anyone else nor anyone on Redcloud and Sunshine.

Info: The Point 13,832-Point 13,811 combo is mostly dry and in great conditions. The initial part of the traverse after the Redcloud/Point 13,832 saddle looks improbable but there's actually a good trail the entire way, and it's almost entirely dry, just a couple of feet of snow to cross. The remainder of the route up Point 13,832 is dry and easy. See the conditions report for Point 13,811 for details on the area between it and Point 13,832. I wore trail runners for the entire day and while my feet were wet it was warm enough to be OK; wear appropriate footwear for you and conditions. Carry microspikes or traction, you'll want them for any possible descent route.

Info: Good trail the whole way. Basically a walk-up, until you have to leave the trail for the 100-foot summit pitch.

Info: Many slide paths up the Silver Creek Trail but no issues route finding in the dark. Actually make the trail better as it was easy to just walk up/down the snow. Route above treeline is dry. Trail is thin toward the end but no big deal.

Info: Silver Creek trail is a mess with avalanche debris. About a third of the trail is buried under feet of snow and trees. Ascending out of the bowl to the start the ridge walk is also very swampy and snowy. There are a few snow fields along the way from 13832 to 13811 that are very sloppy but not more than 50 feet long.

Info: From about a mile in until you make it to the basin is solid ice over the creek, mixed with avy debris. The ice is several feet thick. I didn't need traction on my way in at 3am or out at 9am, although it was warming up and may be necessary in the afternoon. Dry from saddle to summit. Summit register missing.

Info: Summit of 13,832 does not have any trail register. The trail register on 13,811 currently does not have any lid or pen in it. If someone wants to preserve it might want to put a lid on it or else I doubt it will survive past winter.
