Route: From Navajo

Info: mostly snow free from Navajo. Mostly solid rock, fun route finding. We descended down to Long Lake and there is still a good amount of snow once you hit treeline. It was a mess trying to follow the trail so we just took a straight line down the lake.

Route: from Navajo

Info: route is dry, once you are off navajo take the ridge to airplane gully and keep walking, we stayed off ridge proper and side hilled it to the 2nd taller bump. maybe a class 3 move in there depending on your route at the end to the summit, but mostly a lot of boulder hopping for a long way, took about an hr RT from the gully. on our way back we took the right of the Y split for airplane gully, we should have just walked a few steps more as we popped out below the upper wreck and rejoined the rest of the shitty scree trail till we were out.

Route: From Saddle With Navajo Peak
Posted On: 9/9/2022, By: supranihilest
Info: From Navajo's summit I descended back to the saddle with Niwot Ridge then scrambled (Class 2+) up to the high point of the ridge. Mostly easy stuff on stable boulders. A bit tedious. Continuing east along the ridge is allegedly sustained Class 3 and Class 4, but looked fun. I went back the way I came.
