Info: almost no snow warm throughout the whole day - I wore a light hoodie 90 % of the time, but carried a heavy coat which I appreciated a LOT about 45minutes - but they were important 45 minutes! :-) Pretty high winds for about 45 minutes. Sunny almost all day. About 15 people were out climbing.

Info: Did Decalibron on 10/20. Did not need spikes due to very small amount of snow in the peaks(could maneuver around easisy) Great day for it, winds around 10-20mph Get those 14ers in before winter!!! hehe

Info: Hiked counterclockwise and the trail until we reached the saddle between Cameron and Democrat was covered in snow, at some points about 4-5 inches deep. It was all fresh snow and was only icy at the summit of Lincoln but was challenging to hike through at some points.

Info: So glad to have these peaks accessible again - sign the waiver and get it done! FYI - when approaching Bross from the DeCaLi- side there were no signs posted. With the Lemmings streaming up the variety of paths/roads to the Bross summit, we had to pause and really gather our bearings to determine which paths were permitted and which ones were trespassing. If 14ers.com has contacts at CFI and/or direct contact to the Bross landowners - more signage might keep more people off of Bross.

Info: Came in from Canada to tag some 14ers. Access to Kite lake and apparently the summits of the 14ers in the group from any direction are CLOSED. Out of respect for a country and it's laws that I'm visiting, I did not contravene these rules. Being in the "land of the free" and being denied access to climb mountains is a strange experience though.

Info: Did not climb, parked at Montgomery Reservoir and walked up the drainage to see if there was a skiable line from the top of Linclon. There was not, glory hole did not go from the top.

Info: We found snowshoes useful on the road and into the basin. Carried them the rest of the day and switched to microspikes past the saddle heading up Democrat (quite dry up high). Excellent day—NO WIND! (I'm still in awe).

Info: Traction seemed pretty essential today. Used microspikes most of the day. Didn't carry or use flotation and I got by okay. Would've been helpful but not necessary. I parked 2 miles from summer trailhead. Didn't see evidence of any recent avy slides. Beautiful bluebird day with almost no wind. Saw one other person all day- thanks for leaving my hat on my car!

Info: DeCaLiBron today - warm and winds weren't too bad, at least compared to the past few weeks. Rocked snowshoes until the Democrat / Cameron split as I was breaking through some sections of snow - didn't put them on again until I was at the trailhead and walking to my car. Would def bring microspikes - several slick sections of hard snow. Regarding the road / trailhead: A few miles from the trailhead there are several windblown piles of the snow on the road. I made it over the first few in my Subaru Outback, and then got stuck. Spent 40 minutes digging my car out - not the greatest way to start a hike. Learn from my hubris and park a few miles down. Not worth pushing through, as you'll eventually hit bigger and bigger piles. Trail was easy to follow - only issue I had was going to Bross, the last mile or so. Wasn't too bad going down the scree with a bit of snow, but still slipped around a few times. Didn't see any signs or warnings of avy activity - not much snow going down Bross. Start 7:15 Trailhead - 8am Democrat - 10:15 Cameron - 11:15 Lincoln - 11:45 Bross - 1pm Finish - 3:15

Info: A beautiful day on all 3 peaks. Sunny and barely any wind. Summited Democrat, Cameron, and Lincoln. No need for snow shoes, but micro-spikes and gaiters are a must. It was a little challenging to follow the trail due to the snow.

Info: Pretty much perfect conditions. No traction needed on the way up, used micro spikes in the lower area on the way down - a bit slippery going around the falls. Not much snow and protected from the wind all day. Lost my sunglasses (again!) on the way down if anyone happens to find them.
