The summer trailhead is inaccessable because of all the snow up there. We parked at the winter trailhead and attempted Humboldt's east ridge. There was a ton of snow below timberline. Snowshoes are a must. The snow was very powdery which mad our trail packing very stenuous. If anyone is attempting the east ridge soon, we've packed a nice snowshoe trail above timberline, which will save you lots of energy. We stashed out snowshoes right at timberline and didn't need them from there on up. |
