Did Crestone Peak from 4WD South Colony trailhead in one day. Great hike, even if exhausting. The Red Gully is in great condition. That said the rockfall potential in the upper half is significant, as some have said previously. I may have been the only person on the Red Gully in both ascent and descent, but on a day with more traffic people should be careful. I took the climber's left side for both ascent and descent, which worked well.
