It was a bluebird day in the elks. Some of the creek crossings were a bit high but was able to cross without issues. There are several snowfields to cross between the Daly saddle and K2 but there was good bootpack. Depending on your comfort level, spikes or no traction will work. The path straight up to K2 and the rest of the route is dry. This is the closest to summer conditions you're gonna get so go after it! |
