CO Springs Intro to 14ering Classes

Post by MaryinColorado »

Free Classes! | CO Springs | Learn How to Climb a 14er | April 15 and May 6

The Colorado Fourteeners Initiative (CFI) is excited to once again partner with REI in CO Springs to offer intro 14er education! Though the class is geared toward those new to or wanting to get into hiking 14ers, all experience levels are welcome.

Instructors are Von Campbell and myself (Mary O'Malley, a.k.a. MaryinColorado), long-time CFI Peak Steward volunteers/educators and avid peak climbers. We'll teach the essentials of preparation and safety, but we'll also teach some really cool stuff about the alpine and how to be responsible guests there. Please see the link below for class details and to register. We look forward to seeing your friendly faces!
