I will be doing the Skiers Haute Route at the end of April in 5 days with a guide and looking for any insight or advice from people that have completed it before.
Anything you wish you brought to make life better or anything you brought but didn't need?
My current training plan is running and riding the trainer during the week and doing at least 1 tour on the weekends.

Re: Skiers Haute Route Advice
Ambien, Melatonin? We stayed in a high hut while doing the Grossglockner last year. Noisy af and the dude in the bunk below us was farting and giggling all night long. In contrast, the huts were amazing with the food, beer, and wifi...

Any noisy trip ear plugs are a must, wind or people.
Consecutive months with at least one 13er or 14er, 87 months
Re: Skiers Haute Route Advice
I bought some ear plugs, need to start sleeping with them so I can get used to them before the trip.
I will get more Ambien before the trip. I am a light sleeper on a normal day so I don't expect too much sleep on this trip.
