Took Randy 3 attempts (weather and "other" thwarted his past attempts) on Trinity, but he finally summited, from the Stormy Gulch side, on 9/2.
Randy finished just as the rain started in Stormy Gulch...wet, a bit cold, in shorts (as always), and exhausted, but overwhelmingly ecstatic.
Happy that several of us could make that pleasant trek into Stormy Gulch and see your safe return to camp!
Congratulations my dear (and sometimes curmudgeonly) friend! You are an inspiration
Congratulations to RWinters: Centennial Finisher on Solo Summit of Trinity

Congrats on a big finish! Way to go!
The summit is a source of power. The long view gives one knowledge and time to prepare. The summit, by virtue of the dizzying exposure, leaves one vulnerable. A bit of confidence and a dash of humility is all we get for our work. Yet to share these moments with friends is to be human. C. Anker
