Sounds bad. The Elks are a dramatic and unforgiving place. Praying for this guy.

Please respect the privacy of the family members of the person in question unless or until they are willing to make a public statement. That is certainly what SAR is doing. We don't know what they're going through or dealing with.

He was found deceased in technical terrain on the Bells. Recovery operation set for the 8th.

It was originally posted with a photo and details of the missing person. It was edited once he was found. Maybe just not replying would have been better.
