Can you see Medicine Bow & Browns Peak from Denver Metro?
I live in Wheat Ridge, specifically on the south side of Crown Hill by Wheat Ridge High School. At the far northern end of the peaks I see when looking west are two peaks well above tree line with snow caps peaks. I can only see these on very clear days. I believe these peaks are Medicine Bow Peak and Browns peak all the way up north in Wyoming. I know its a long ways away but using GoogleEarth I think it may be possible are there aren't many tall hills that would obscure this view. Do you think this possible that I am really seeing what I think I see?
The picture I included its hard to see the peaks because I am zooming in with all I got.You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Does look like some WY peaks are visible from the HS:

I climbed medicine bow a few years ago - from the summit you can clearly see i to Colorado, but the view is dominated by the tall peaks of rocky mountain national park and the never summers. I don't think you could see if from the plains near the front range.

Sarcasm or not, it's not even funny to post something like this. Not at this time. Reported.

Caltopo's "Viewshed Analysis" is a good tool for this. Right click on the point you want to start the analysis from and it will highlight everything you can see from there via line of sight calculations. From that, you cannot see anywhere on the Front Range Plains from those peaks. Closest you would be able to see under optimal conditions is the RMNP area, everything else lower is blocked.
Using Caltopo's "Simulated View" from roughly the sound side of Crown HIll, I'm pretty sure what you are seeing in that picture is South Signal and Signal near RMNP. Kenny matches very well with the left hump in your image.
Anyways both the viewshed and view from here are fun to play around with!

I used to live near there, and I'm pretty positive that the farthest above treeline peaks that you can see from wheat ridge in that direction are the Mummy range (Ypsilon on the left, Hagues, Mummy on the right) in the northern portion of RMNP
I thought, I taught, I wrought

I concur. Those snowcapped peaks are Mummys.

Mummy Range. View from Gnarvada
Fairchild, Hagues, and Mummy are distinct
I can see the whole Front Range and it seems like out to Mound Mountain in WY, but not Medicine Bow. West White Pine is in the way, and other mountains.

Re: Can you see Medicine Bow & Browns Peak from Denver Metro?
Today I noticed snow capped peaks north and seemingly east of the Mummy Range from Westminster. May be Fall and Comanche. Stretch to think Rawahs or Medicine Bow.
Photo taken from Wadsworth and 94th at the AFW. They are all visible driving north on that stretch. I still doubt this can be seen from Crown Hill in Wheat Ridge though.
The snowy ridge on the left is Mummy's east flanks. Beyond the large white building on horizon to the right are the peaks in question. Perhaps this is in OPs photo, but hard to pick out with the blur and zoom. Also Rawahs and Medicine Bow should be northwest and not northeast or north of Mummy. However Comanche and Stormy Peaks at the northern end would run northeast.
