Thanks!
No, that's on the other side of Tuhare lakes. It's the one in between UN 13,253 and Holy Cross Ridge.bdloftin77 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:46 pm Was it this one? This is on Halo Ridge near Holy Cross and Holy Cross Ridge. Or maybe I’m super off base and there’s a different Halo Ridge.

Yes, that's the one I'm referring to. When you look at the route description here:Willy the Kid wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:29 pm Is this the point you're referring to? It doesn't look like it's on this site, but it is on the USFS maps on CalTopo.
Yeah, I was just assuming it counted as a 13er and I could check it off, but maybe not. The other two I found on the checklist no problem, so I was thinking with Lidar the old PT 13373 changed with the new elevation, but perhaps it never existing to begin with on the 13er list on this site. A question for Bill perhaps.bdloftin77 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:06 pm Yeah, looks like the saddle is at an interpolated 13,260’, so it only has 113’ of interpolated prominence. No official or unofficial name, and not ranked. I did look on peakbagger and it has it. https://peakbagger.com/peak.aspx?pid=46266
Listsofjohn generally only includes peaks that are, were, or have/had the possibility of being ranked (300’+ of prominence), are officially named, or are unofficially named per signage or a guidebook.ColoNativeGal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 3:42 pmYeah, I was just assuming it counted as a 13er and I could check it off, but maybe not. Thanks.
14ers.com is pretty similar, having all ranked 13ers, all officially named 13ers, and some unofficially named 13ers (lots from Gerry Roach’s books).
It looks like peakbagger doesn’t really have limiting criteria for what qualifies as a peak, and it mentions that there are millions that could be added, assuming they’re approved by the peakbagger staff. Quite the task just reviewing and accommodating all the new peaks!
So if you like checking off every (little or big) bump you climb, peakbagger might be a good additional place to keep track.
