Loft conditions?
Hey all, has anyone had eyes (or better yet feet) on the Loft since the last storm? Considering a Meeker Iron Gates/Loft loop tomorrow but hoping someone has some first hand insight into how iced up the Loft is. Thanks!
Re: Loft conditions?
I was on Chief's Head yesterday. Everything on Long's and Meeker that I could see looked bone dry.

Re: Loft conditions?
Current view from the Longs Peak webcam shows a dusting of snow over everything up high.
When I did that specific loop on the 14th there was already a little ice in the Loft near the small waterfall that trickles down from the semi-permanent snowfield at the top (I'm calling it that because it appears to last through the entire summer on at least some years).
