I hope that the superintendent changes the direction things are going. It's sad how he's cutting off funding and supply storage, and that the program might not be around next year at this rate.

That was a really well written article, it was interesting to hear about all the moving pieces in the rescue. Hopefully Becca can recover quickly.
It seems like everything went right on this day, with the partner needing to leave for help and the victim remaining alive tied into a ledge and unconscious for hours before anyone was able to get back to her.
The SAR crew did an amazing job, hopefully they can get their funding back or at least not have someone in charge who is actively trying to make their job more difficult.
