Seeking tent spot for Capitol Lakes 9/20 or 9/21

Post by thediek »

Hey hey!

I've got a scheduling window for Capitol on 9/20-9/22 and I'd like to make the most of it and pack in to the Capitol Lakes campsites for the best chance of success. I'd like to pack in on 9/20 or on the 9/21. If I'm reading it correctly it seems that if your campsite permit can allow for more members as long as it isn't printed yet. I'm seeking to be that added member! I'll happily pay for the entire permit. I'm self-sufficient and can be as quiet and/or social as you like. I'll be flying solo, but would also be interested in some company for the peak if it works out.

I'd say I'm very experienced, have over 50 14ers accomplished and most of the hard ones over 20 years. I've done 7 this summer already and am in good hiking shape.

Anyone got some room on their permit? Or an unused permit to sell me?

Thanks y'all!
