The Manitou Springs Incline has closed. Makes sense with the 1,000's of people climbing it daily and the reduced local infrastructure. Curious if anyone, (Jim Davies) has heard anything about additional closures on Barr Trail, local parking, or Pikes Peak summit/highway access?

Re: Manitou Incline Closed
Pikes Peak highway is still open to online reservations only. Visitors will not be able to pay via credit card or cash at the gate. Haven’t heard anything about barr trail yet.
Re: Manitou Incline Closed
I wonder if my 14er pass is considered a reservation. Training for the PPA, I had gone up to the summit two weeks ago for a run...
Edit: Looks like they shutdown the trailhead lot for Barr:
Re: Manitou Incline Closed
Update... Barr Trailhead Lot is now back open. Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation had posted on social media that Manitou Springs was wrong to close anything without checking with them first...
