SD Mobile Mummy Sleeping Bag

Post by powhound »

After freezing my butt off on a backpacking trip last week, I am looking at getting a warmer sleeping bag and came across this SD Mobile Mummy. With the amount of dark and frigid cold time at camp this time of year, this concept seems to make sense. However, I am a born skeptic. Is this brilliant or just a gimmick?
Thoughts? Anyone out there with first hand experience with the Mobile Mummy?

You may disappointed with SD product or customer service as I and others have been. I'd get a good dedicated bag, and a good puffy or parka instead that you can use on a hike and in your bag for added warmth. For car camping, hard to beat a good ol' bulky blanket.
