Doubtful he'll do any rappelling though since he'd have to carry up the rope, harness, and belay device (or just a carabiner if he just rapped with a Munter). I also assume that due to muling rules he couldn't use a pre-existing anchor so he'd have to bring cord/webbing and a quick link to build his own rap anchor - anything that already exists is probably off-limits.

I’m going to hike in and do Vestal/Trinity/Jagged with him, as he wants the mental support - I know out of these- and for the harder peaks I.e. Teakettle/Dallas
Jagged will be the only mountain he will plan a rappel (or use rope for)

I can't imagine using an in-situ gear (slings, rap anchors) would be off limits. If that's the case, I say that signs, cairns, and trails are also not allowed

I didn't know people typically carried signs, cairns, and trails in their packs. Tell me more!

For the speed record to count: no gps, no shoes, no clothes, no water bottle, no pre made food. Naked and afraid style.

Justin is correct. This is addressed in Cave Dog's rules:

See the last paragraph of section 2 "Muling".

It was a pleasure seeing Andrew’s multiple signature on the Turret CMC register. I have no doubt he’s one of the strongest hikers/climbers this state has to offer. Go get it!

Here’s the plan!

We will hike LaPlata tonight together, then head to the Elks to run from upcoming weather. (Again, thanks Tomer)

He will link up the Elks as we have done in 2018 known as the “Centennial Elks traverse”

That should take about 2.5 days with one resupply
