Red Mountain Pass was great today, probably will be for several more days if anyone happens to be in the area. This is from this morning - 10/2. Was a little gloomy, I think that's supposed to blow out of here by tomorrow.

Those are larches. In the PNW hiking groups (Washington specifically) there’s a ton of excitement over the larches turning gold. North Cascades National Park has specifically gone on to call it “Larch Madness”. Trails with a lot of larches get a lot of traffic and hype, similar to Kenosha Pass here in CO.
