Kebler Pass is pretty good right now. Some green still, but also seems like a lot of leaves are falling as well

The Ridgway/Telluride area is a few days from really being at peak. Also, peak isn't going to be nearly as good as usual. Lots of shriveled up leaves and bare trees and dull green leaves. Some decent patches of color of course, but not up to what I've seen in previous years. I drove down on Thursday, the west side of Vail Pass was really good, little did I know it would be much better than down here.

Edit - if anyone goes out to look at the scrub oak, that's looking good :)

The Oberg Mtn. Trail near Lutsen, MN (It would probably be called a hill rather than a mountain in CO, but hey, it's the Midwest).

Kenosha Pass was outstanding today, even if this isn't the best year for color. And we had it all to ourselves!!! (NOT!!!).

I drove over Kenosha last year on a Saturday at about this time of year, it was horrifying.

Kenosha looked pretty past peak when I drove through this afternoon. Still some nice color, but lots of downed leaves and empty trees. The East side of Monarch Pass is really pretty right now down low, and the area around south CB is about half way turned. I'll report back on Kebler Pass in a day or two.

Kenosha was past peak when we drove thru this afternoon. And traffic was fine.

The West side of Kebler Pass is in full swing right now, might last through the week if the wind doesn't take it down.

Colors at Guanella Pass are fading as fast as the leaves are falling. Three Mile Creek trail had some nice stretches through some groves in full bloom, however. Colors in the willows are gone as winter makes its rapid march down from the mountain tops.
