Confirmed, I personally climbed and surveyed all 49 Towers of the Cimarron Forks, though I find the "localized drone and tripod" method to be unconscionably soft, hence I used a tape measure. Weather and lightning made this somewhat difficult as my sharpie marks kept washing off in the torrents, forcing me to scale each tower multiple times to get the most accurate result.Edwardteach wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2026 3:39 pm Can you confirm if you personally took these measurements or the government just took rough non specific measurements from airplane with no localized drone and tripod next to each tower
I read your profile it says you only do class 2 scrambles
As you can imagine this is highly dangerous, so much so that upon completing the assignment I hung up my grappling hook to focus on safer pursuits. These days you'll find me in the driveway doing whips and burnouts on my E-unicycle.
Guilty as charged though if we're splitting hairs it's rope-intensive, technical localized lidar class 2.d_baker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2026 3:45 pmhahahaha......Boggy, is this a true statement? hahahaEdwardteach wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2026 3:39 pm I read your profile it says you only do class 2 scrambles
If anyone has these tools I could perhaps help muscle them up to a more localized spot I'm a very skilled scrambler and very good climber but need rope training
