Hey as long as 14ers.com isn't susceptible to the same basic, persistent technological challenges that plague MP user admin, I say the more stoke the better.
Plus that thread had me in tears.
But whereas climbers can't be bothered to look at every 300 foot choss pile in existence, you're not gonna drop a new 13er on peakbaggers without a bit more effort.

But I'm asking if anyone has disproven it, I'm not dropping it with what I have I understand that, but just asking if anyone knows if it has already been proven to have less than 300' or if it's still a maybe?

The elevation data in Google Earth is questionable, we have Lidar data that is more accurate.
I get about 13380 ft on the summit you're pointing to, and the saddle is more like 13215 ft, so around 165 ft prom, far below the 300 ft threshold.
Check out the Lidar yourself.

Caltopo is pretty dead on, and they have incorporated Lidar data into their maps where available.

Raw data is available here: https://apps.nationalmap.gov/downloader/
You'll need Displaz https://c42f.github.io/displaz/ or another piece of software to view the point cloud.

But were drone and tripod lidar used on the west Minaret tower of dunsinane mountain? I mean there might have been a Romeo Juliet balcony blocking the lidar

I don't think any are over 13k. Two have 200'+. Tallest 228' here: 38.18569, -107.47911
7 towers around Precipice and Dunsinane with >= 100'. The big one east of Dunsinane is 165'. Another big one east of Precipice has 160'. Both appear in photos in my recent TR.
The pointiest one is west of Dunsinane, 173' tall: 38.13278, -107.54125
I'm sure there are a ton more on the remaining Cimarron ridges. Trying to find a ranked one..

A complete, basic survey-grade LiDAR drone and tripod setup costs between $20,000 and $45,000.However, for DIY mountaineering prominence measurements (identifying the highest point of a peak or the lowest point of a col/saddle), hiking thousands of vertical feet with industrial-grade gear poses a major logistical hurdle. Enterprise LiDAR setups weigh 20–35 lbs and require massive hard cases.

Can you confirm if you personally took these measurements or the government just took rough non specific measurements from airplane with no localized drone and tripod next to each tower

I read your profile it says you only do class 2 scrambles

If anyone has these tools I could perhaps help muscle them up to a more localized spot I'm a very skilled scrambler and very good climber but need rope training

But I personally would like to climb the west Minaret and the spires of sheep mountain

Does anyone else remember when the trolls and sockpuppets were homegrown and actually funny, not just random schizos from the internet?

Oh, what I'd give for the days of Baron Von Bergschrund...

I will volunteer or even partially fund basic expenses, I ride a dual sport motorcycle about every single day for trivial things like the post office and do wheelies on motorcross for my own entertainment but all this risk taking got me thinking I want something to remember it all by and rock climbing isn't more dangerous it's perhaps less dangerous than what I already do which involves wilderness treks into the void of mines lighting and wildlife

I'm not bothered by these Minarets they seem safer than what I already do, I don't need payment but I need safer forms of exercise recreation and lasting bragging rights

I lack technical knowledge of localized lidar and I don't have a localized lidar drone or tripod

With my muscle and boggy's lidar skills anything is possible like Kevin Garnet

With all the free time you seem to have for spamming and trolling various forums, I'll bet you could learn pretty quickly!
