There can be a lot of factors, batteries died, maybe it was unlocked when he put it in his bag and it accidently got turned off moving down terrain, garmin having server processing issues, etc.

What is everyone seeing? Refreshing the tracker places him starting his descent down pyramid’s NW ridge, albeit almost 2 hours ago. I’m hoping his GPS is out of battery. I believe his intended descent is down the west couloir, which I know he has taken before. I just tried and I couldn’t get in contact with him.

That is what I see - the one ping down the ridge at 11:14am.

Ya seeing the same. Assuming it's functioning properly, I believe InReach will only send a ping if movement has been detected since the last ping. At some point (4-5 hours of no movement maybe?) if would send another ping regardless of movement.
