This is amazing to watch. Keep it up, Dan!

If he finishes Bells + Pyramid today, he is still right on Brent's schedule after 9 days (with a change in order climbing the Elks before the Sawatch). So it appears he's on schedule to finish in 15 days if his knees hold out.

He was going to spend some time this morning massaging them at the maroon bells parking lot. I feel for the guy, if your knees are toast one of the worst places to be in colorado is at Pyramid and the Bells. It’s bringing back bad memories of 1999 when i started going down everything backwards because my knees were hurting.

He said he is taking anti inflammatories. I also suggested poles if he doesn’t use them (i don’t know if he uses them or not, but they are pretty critical if your knees are out), and then i suggested if they are still hurting after today (duh-the bells), that maybe he might target easier peaks for a day or two to just give them a chance to improve.

But no matter what i think he is going to be hurting, i hope he figures out a way to pull it off.

He has a sticky note on the inside of his van door that says “don’t forget poles”

Castle/conundrum hopefully won’t be too rough on him with the dirt bike and his poles :)

He banged those out a few days ago, I think he is off the Sawatch after this!

His legs must be holding out. He just blasted up the 1000 ft of pharaohs arse (head wall of amphitheater) in just over 30 min

Awesome news, he’s on Pyramid and is feeling a bit better. He said his swelling is going down. He’s got a tricky descent off Pyramid ahead of him but he’s in familiar territory. The man has done his homework, next weeks too. Keep on trucking Dan!!

He appears to be in good spirits based on his latest Instagram post on Pyramid, hah.

I'm a little worried about Dan; is anyone in contact with him?
