Longmonster is not the Baron people, despite everyone welcoming him back as if he is.

Baron or not, he's gotten things rolling. Longmonster was pretty good as well and has been gone. One way or the other, welcome back.JB99 wrote:Longmonster is not the Baron people, despite everyone welcoming him back as if he is.

I'm having a little trouble recalling Longmonster.
Was he the guy who had a plan to kiss a random woman on the top of each 14er?

Re: Who is the Baron??
I don't remember him at all Maybe he is that guy form last month who was going to climb the Maroon Bell, he climbed in Scotland and had an accent. No, that's silly.
But the Baron always had excellent and erudite comments.

I thought longmonster was the d***head whose TR someone found on summitpost, where he dragged his tired and out-of-shape kid up Quandary, belittling him the whole time, and then bragged about it.
Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else...

That was the milehighmofo (nee milehighmadman). His 36 hour rise and fall on this site was, in my opinion, pure rock n' roll...jaymz wrote:I thought longmonster was the d***head whose TR someone found on summitpost, where he dragged his tired and out-of-shape kid up Quandary, belittling him the whole time, and then bragged about it.

My apologies to longmonster/strongmelon for the confusion.

There are differing opinions on the original Longmonster. As is often the case, Lordhelmut's is the most entertaining:cheeseburglar wrote:I'm having a little trouble recalling Longmonster.

Recently, there have been a few forum users on the site that obviously post only to antagonize others. It's unnecessary and their entries are a nuisance. I'm sick of it and will just start banning user accounts that waste our time with garbage posts.
I just banned two users. If they have a problem, tough s**t - they can troll elsewhere.

did one of them happen to be that piece of s**t Longmonster? Be careful Bill, who knows what can happen when a 30 year old living in his parents termite infested basement gets his forum rights revoked

There was also a "c00txlarrr" or something similar if I remember correctly. It'd be a nice addition to the site if there was a "black book" section where you could see who was banned and, more importantly, why.jaymz wrote:Ah, yes, that was him. Perhaps because the Baron has better/more productive things to do with his time?covfrrider wrote:I'm pretty sure the Baron isn't erroneousmilehighmonsterswing
