Does he sleep and wait to tackle Capitol in the daylight? This is fun to watch!

Looks like he's bypassing Satans in order to descend Pierre Lakes in the dark! What a legend...

That ridge is not safe to solo in daylight while fresh. The Pierre lakes route is actually quite nice and not too hard.

Well, I thought Andrew would stop last night and tag Capitol early today... I guess I was right; 12:49am today! Holy smokes!

Way to knock out the Elks! The question is- where does he head next??? My guess is the San Juans, but which peak(s) I have no idea.

Elks DONE!!!!

Snowmass and Capitol were really rough for Andrew - in all ways, and coming out of Capitol felt like eternity for him.

Laura made him an egg croissant with lots of butter and veggie sausage, (we are vegetarian)and he downed some hot chocolate. He is now sleeping successfully in the back of my car on our next drive.

Huge thanks to Dave who spent the night at Capitol Lake to meet Andrew on the way out. That was a huge pick me up for him.

Communication via satellite tracker is a huge save for us all, last night was a stressful one for us.

Next up: I’ll hike Grizzly with him after a LONG sleep, Andrew is tired and hurting!

Wow, just incredible, amazing - a legendary traverse through the Elks. Wishing Andrew a restful sleep and a quick recovery from a superhuman effort.

Anybody else seeing Andrew's track stuck at 54 mph on the highway at 8:16 am near the Aspen airport? It's not updating for me. (probably writing those conditions reports now  )

How does his time doing all the Elk Cents compared to all the Elk 14ers back in 2015?
