It's really an amazing feat! Did you see those cornices that had formed on the final ridge? It's just lucky he didn't,
break on through to the other side

Some of these Everest shenanigans don’t really “light my fire”, but at “the end” of the day, “people are strange” who don’t think this feat is as cool as an “L.A. woman” named “Gloria”.

Not to detract from this spectacular accomplishment, but let's give a nod to Davo, the Slovenian who skied from the summit years ago.

Re: Jim Morrison Skis Everest
So, while awaiting "the Jim Morrison movie", refresh the mindset watching "that Polish dude" (per Bale) K2 descent
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiGkU_eXJa8,
with or without that RedBull can, but somebody had to spend the money for the trip.
It must be fun when you trudge up and see a plower coming down towards you along the narrow ridge.
K2 was busy that day? Nineteen more people (and the way that "nineteen" was said reminded me of my own squealing when dead tired) after those three.
As for Davo Karnicar's Everest descent, Davo's gone, six years now. Tree chopping, practically in backyard.
For those who never heard of him, being from a tiny country, and away from self-centered spotlight of "free media", a quotation, most of it from Before Selfies age, the BBS age:
"He climbed Nanga Parbat in 1989, K2 in 1993, Shishapangma in 1996 and made ski descents of the northeast face of the Eiger and the east face of the Matterhorn. His solo climb of the Bonatti Pillar on the Aiguille du Dru is perhaps his standout achievement. In 2001, Karnicar opened a ski school for Nepalese children on the Khumbu Glacier. In 2006, he became the first person to complete ski descents of the Seven Summits.?
Also skied down Annapurna in 1995.
Anyway, back to the K2 video, with JM incoming. Every huff and puff of it. Have fun

Wow that is sick! Thanks for sharing. Also nice to know that Morrison is on the A-frame carry team.

Re: Jim Morrison Skis Everest
Amazing video of another, more recent, ski descent from Everest Summit:
Since when do drones work so well at such high altitude? I wondered if it was a deep fake, but so far as I can tell, this happened.
