Yesterday on Guanella Pass. A few hundred yards up the trail to Square Top. Lots of flowers but sort of sparse if that makes sense. I think everyone knows what this one is.

Hi rmattas - I used a Lumix GF1 handheld with stabilized lens to get the blur. The water was moving fast and 1/5sec exposure did the trick.

Definitely has outstanding elements to be sure. However, I would make it a pano as you suggest. I think this image would be better served by putting the focus on the amazing flowers leading to the snow capped peaks. So I would crop the top portion of the sky and create a more horizontal orientation. That would place more emphasis on the more interesting elements....and, as an added bonus......ostensibly eliminate the sky noise and sensor spot(s).
