Trying to find interior window shades for car camping for a 2010 Xterra, but am having issues.
Was easily able to find (springy) window shades that tuck inside the window frames of my 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I love them and they were reasonably priced (full set of windows for ~$40-$50).
For some reason I have been unable to find anything similar for an Xterra.
I find "curtains" or weather tech $175-$200 sets or generic sets meant to work with "most" vehicles.
Do any Xterra car campers have some suggestions for interior shades they use and like?

If you have no luck finding premade for reasonable price...reflectix and black duct tape. About $20 and a few hours of labor. I made mine for my highlander 3 years ago and they've lasted well over 100 car camps so far. (I use a collapsible sunshade thing for my front windshield.)

I made mine from reflectix as well, and used spray glue to stick black fabric on the front, then duct taped the seams around the back. Looks super low-profile when installed. I don't usually cover anything except the rear window when I car camp at trailheads, but I covered everything when ski road tripping and was sleeping in a lot of rest areas and walmart parking lots.

these suggestions are all way more high tech than my cardboard box and beer case solution... they're not pretty, but they were free. and i will say mine have lasted for 5 years now and work great in all four seasons, including september when we get to enjoy all of the aforementioned seasons in the same day. also recommend pairing with some shade sox.

I ordered some window shades for my 2015 Xterra through this company and I’m really happy with them: https://www.heatshieldstore.com/ (I actually just ordered the back five windows as it’s easy to find cheap shades for the Frontier and these work great). That back window in particular is tricky for a DIY job. I had made my own but I was tired of them falling on me all the time. I don’t remember what I paid for them but I thought it was worth it.
