Congratulations Ben! This definitely puts things in perspective! Huge accomplishment and set up with skills for life! Nice work to the parental units as well!

10?! I think I was still learning some basic baseball stuff at that age. A huge congrats to Ben & fam!

Thanks everybody for acknowledging Ben. He's currently on a road trip with his Mom and sister, but I know he will appreciate this and would love to reply. One of his favorite things about climbing the 14ers are the people that stop to talk to him. Much like his dad, he could talk about mountains all day. The only disappointment in finishing on Pyramid in the middle of the week was that there was only one other person on the mountain. Ben even said to me he wanted to go back and climb Bierstadt and pretend that was his finisher so he could celebrate with all of you. So, to those of you that Ben met along the way, thank you for stopping to talk to him. You made his day. 
His twin sister, Brooke, has climbed 20 14ers.
