Hey everyone, I'm looking to climb Kit Carson and Challenger this weekend (06/15) and was wondering if anyone had any info on the conditions in the Avenue at the moment or from past years for early-mid June? It seemed like a low snow year down south so I'm hoping the Avenue would be passable by now. I tried filtering by trip reports and found one from 2020 that would suggest it might be relatively snow free this weekend, but curious if anyone had any thoughts?
I have a reservation for Culebra Saturday, was hoping to head up to Kit afterwards. Backpack up Saturday evening and climb Kit and Challenger Sunday.
Thanks,
Kellan

Re: Kit Carson Conditions
Kellan, did you attempt Kit Carson this past weekend? I'm looking for intel on the amount of snow in the Avenue- haven't seen any reports since the pics posted from 25 May, where it was still buried in snow.
