Seeking weekday peak skiing partners

Post by Danger_D »

Spring snowpack is here, and I'm itching to get some bigger lines. My schedule is very open for the next few weeks and I'm looking for some partners to ski some 13er and 14ers with.

I've skied 9 13ers/14ers, have my AIARE 1, and am pretty conservative risk-wise, but I'm fit and eager to get after some cool s**t

Starting this week I'm looking to knock off some lines on my list, but I'm open to other ideas if people are stoked on something else. Hit me up!

My list:
Elbert - Box Creek Cirque
Quandary - Cristo
Democrat - South Slope
Torries - Tuning fork or Emperor
Mt. Aetna Grand Couloir
Mt. Tweto

I'm around for an early Tuesday am start if interested. Gotta be back in Denver by 1130 so probably only Torrey's from your list or something near Parnassus/jones/Citadel area

I'm trying to find a partner for Torreys and I could go Monday (or any day this weekend too). Let me know if you are interested. It looks like the temps are a little warm - haven't looked at Monday specifically.

Keep a real close eye on overnight temperatures - CAIC has warned specifically about no overnight re-freeze being a significant problem.

Yep. Monday looks better if the forecast holds.

Are you around Thursday? I could be down for Torreys or Aetna; also would really love to do Keplinger's on Longs or the Y couloir on Pikes.
