LiDAR: Sunlight Spire officially added as a ranked 14er

Sunlight spire was previously measured at an even 14,000 feet, although remained unranked because of a high saddle between sunlight peak and sunlight spire. Extensive study of high definition LiDAR data has found that indeed the saddle between the peak and spire has been measured at 305', making this peak another official ranked 14er!

As of now there are only about 100 14er finishers recorded, when will you be climbing the new peak to complete the 14ers list?

I can't help but dread this revelation lol. Does this imply the 14er list will be expanded to 59? The addition of sunlight spire would make completing the 14ers significantly more difficult

Usually when you add 1 to 58 you get 59, yes.

I, for one, welcome our new 5.10+ 14er overlord.
