Front Range and Central Mountains are around average, the San Juans and Sangres are below average looking at the latest snow water equivalent as a percentage of historical median.

Something near Colorado Springs. My Rosa. https://www.davidonearth.com/blog/mount-rosa-and-ol-zeb. The David on earth blog has a trip of 14 miles RT with 4000 feet of elevation gain. There are shorter routes of course. A number of YouTube videos also. . I have not been there. I moved to Massachusetts years ago. I miss Colorado, my wife and daughter reside here in Massachusetts so here I am . Another destination a little off the beaten path could be Fishers Peak and the recently created Fishers State Park near Trinidad. Both of these have been covered here on the 14ers forum. Another thought, that no doubt would be considered blasphemy might be the Comanche National Grasslands also near Trinidad. More than a few YouTube videos on them . Check the woman at Canyon Journeys.
Congratulations on parenthood. Try to get your little one out with you when they are able. ATB

During the dust storm / lower snow year of 2022 my girlfriend and I did.... Ouray & Chipeta on June 2nd, Grand Turk & Sultan on June 5th, Hesperus on June 7th, and Sneffels on June 10th.

Bring microspikes and an axe/poles no matter what, but if you want to minimize your snow travel and postholing find south facing routes with accessible THs. The La Platas would be a great option or anything off 550. I would also just keep an eye on conditions updates here the week before your travels and plan to be flexible.

I tell people who will make expensive travel arrangements to Colorado to assume above-treeline snow up to June 30. By mid May we will have an idea if there is a spring drought and then low p-snow early June may be possible.

So many Memorial Weekend visitors are surprised there can still be a lot of snow in the mountains.

The San Juans and the Steamboat area historically get the most precip in Colorado. So even if the snowpack in the San Juans is below normal in percentage terms, there may still be a lot of snow on the ground.
