Sherman Foreclosure?

Post by RWSchaffer »

Yesterday, I found a legal notice posted on the gate at Mount Sherman's Fourmile Creek trailhead (pictured).

I'm not a lawyer, but it looks like someone is trying to foreclose on privately owned land beyond the gate.

Is this news, and is it likely to affect access?

I think this is the result of a confused process server. It looks like the property in question is on the east side of 285 outside of Fairplay.
