Boundary or Boral Peak this summer
Anyone planning on doing these this summer? I would like to and would love a climbing partner!

Borah in Idaho, I'm guessing- when does the snow melt off the crux sections? It's on my list, although quite a haul from where I live- I'll probably end up flying into Boise or Sun Valley and driving from there. Any thoughts on when you might want to go?
Boundary is pretty far from anything, and I'm guessing that given it's location, it's possible to hike year-round, and still a summer-like hike deep into the fall season.

Borah is best towards end of August so the snow can melt out. I down climbed around the ridge crest, difficulty was maybe easy class 3. Nothing challenging, just a long, steep, dry slog.
Did Boundary in May. That area of Nevada is dry and hot. There's no water on that hike either, unless you're way down in the cow pastures. The hardest part of boundary is finding the dirt roads to take you to the trailhead.

Boundary is a maybe for me. I have Whitney on august 5, and want to get Kings peak (UT), as well. Probably won’t have time for boundary, but if I do, I just might go for it.

If you do Borah before all the snow is melted out bring crampons and ice axe. I am happy we had that when we did it in July 2 years ago. Many of the people that day turned around at the snow ridge, and for good reason. Without the right equipment it was not safe to go across chicken out ridge. Very fun peak to climb.

I am looking at Granite, Borah, and Kings (if everything goes perfectly!) and I have August 14-21 to work with, including driving to/from Denver area. Let me know if that timeframe could work, and if you might also be interested in Granite the "easier way" via the southwest ramp - I'm especially interested in a partner for that one though I'd be glad to team up for just Borah as well!

It’s definitely worth adding on Montgomery if you’re able to.
