Nolan's 14 Attempt (Andrea Sansone & Andrew Hamilton)

Andrea & Andrew have announced their intention to attempt a North-to-South Nolan's 14 bid, starting Sunday, September 24th at 11:00 AM. Seems like it's going to be a gritty attempt for multiple reasons (lack of training, recent personal loss, weather, route conditions) according to a social media post.

Edit: There is currently no co-ed record for southbound Nolan's on the FKT website, so it will be an FKT by default pending their success. Best wishes and good luck to both!

We talked to them between Elbert and LaPlata.
They were feeling good and they were ahead of their previous splits.

My friend and I saw Andrea and Andrew today while we were heading down from French / Frasco / Casco and they were heading up - had no idea they were attempting N14 until right now but how incredible..

Sincerely so sorry for your recent loss of your mom, Andrea.

You both are truly so inspiring. I will be following closely and cheering you two on!

In less than 29 hours they have summited 9 of the 14 peaks. From the summit of Huron to the summit of Columbia, summiting Missouri, Belford, Oxford and Harvard along the way, they took 12 hours and 2 minutes. Hey, where is Glen? We need some real analysis.

Just talked to Andrea. She says it is really smoky- they wanted to know if there was a new forest fire. Looks like maybe a prescribed burn west of salida- and the wind is blowing it right at them. They are hating it right now. With night coming- not sure what they will do.
