I had the honor to join my friend Jean Aschenbrenner on Unnamed 13002 (new Lidar 13er promoted from 12er) deep in the Holy Cross Wilderness on Sat. Jean was the 1st woman to finish the original list of CO 13ers back in 1994 and according to her Lists of John records only needed 3 of the new Lidar 13ers to refinish. She packed into Josephine Lake with the legend Teresa Gergen. I met Jean at the lake and she persevered up the chossy southwest gully at age 75 to refinish the list! I told her there's a lot of 20 somethings who couldn't do that route. Lol! Keep after it, Jean. You're an inspiration to us all!
