McCullough Gulch Trailhead

Post by michaelgrundy »

Does anyone have any current information about McCullough Gulch? I was hoping to do Atlantic, Pacific, and Crystal on the upcoming weekend (25th) and the latest report is by Bill almost a month ago.

Any information would be helpful!

Start looking for folks who did Quandary this past weekend and ask if they have any photos.
Also, I assume the headwall is still snow/ice.

Still closed as of today, but the road closure is less than 0.5 miles from TH. It took us 10 min to reach the TH. We skied Atlantic's V couloir. Lots of people hiking to the waterfall and beyond. Trail is relatively easy to follow. Continuous snow starts around 12k, at the upper lake.
