I've been trying to find updates on the attempt, but sounds like no tracking was intentional.

You'll have to translate:

Weather looked bad. Maybe they're in a holding pattern.

This amount of hype is kind of bonkers.

Francois' FB page said it's on as of yesterday (7/4) at 12pm (not sure what timezone).

Agree, hype, but at some point a high-profile athlete was going to make this attempt. I don't think it's Francois hyping, but he is obviously sponsored by Salomon, so there's that. My guess was that Courtney or Killian would have tried this, but that shows you just how much I know.

PS - I know Zach Miller has mentioned this as well. He's running Hardrock next week and I'll be rooting for him.

Actually I think it's getting to be one of the last great challenges. What has Killian not done yet? K2?

I ran into them coming off Oklahoma while they(team of 4) were ascending Massive via Halfmoon. Carrying almost nothing, they all dipped their water bottles in the stream crossing without stopping. They looked strong and were in good spirits! What an amazing effort, congrats! Also ran into another gentleman a few hours ago at the junction of halfmoon road and the 4 wheel drive road up that goes into basin with Elbert/casco/french. He was about to start going again for his Nolan’s, with Massive to finish. Do congrats to that gentleman as well!!
