14ers.com has grown dramatically over the last few years and is used by thousands of people each day (
view stats). Because of the massive site volume, large, dedicated servers are required to keep things running. This costs money and since the mission of 14ers.com is to provide free information without membership fees, I've had to find other ways to pay for the site. Through the support methods below, I’m confident we can continue to grow the site and provide an open environment without membership fees.
Thanks for your support!
Bill Middlebrook, 14ers.com

14ers.com Store
The
14ers.com store is a major funding source for 14ers.com and includes items unique to the site. Because I’m only using the store to pay for site costs, I keep the prices as low as possible.
The most popular store items are printed, Patagonia synthetic shirts and cotton t-shirts.

Ordering stuff at REI.com, Backcountry.com, SierraTradingPost.com
14ers.com has affiliate relationships with the following gear retailers and if you order gear from them, 14ers.com gets a small commission. All you have to do is click on one of the following links
before heading over to make an online purchase at the retail site. A "cookie" will then be stored on your computer so the retailer knows you’re coming from 14ers.com and if you make a purchase, 14ers.com receives a small commission.

Donations
Update - February 1, 2012 - 14ers.com is no longer taking donations. Why? Well, now that more of us are using the gear retailer links (above), it's time to see if we can get by without donations. If you made a donation to 14ers.com in the past, thank you very much! For several years, donations were the main funding source for the site. I never liked asking people for money to help pay for the site but I sure am glad so many people helped us get to this point. Again, thank you.
The 2012 Y-T-D combination of donations, 14ers.com store and retailer affiliate proceeds have covered
16.35% of the 2012 annual 14ers.com site expenses! Here’s a snapshot of how much of the annual expenses have been covered so far:
In 2011 and 2010, you covered
100% of the total site costs! Thanks to everyone who contributed - you keep this site going and growing.
