A Bit of Snow!

Postby Furthermore » Wed Sep 12, 2012 5:25 pm

Looks like the high peaks got some snow. I was able to snap this quick shot of Pikes coming back from Alamosa. Sorry it's a bit blurry but I didn't have time to take a better one and I was surprised to actually see something.

The link below has additional links to a wide variety of webcams throughout the state, many of which are still active. This has probably been posted on 14ers.com beofre. Should be fun to look at these tomorrow for those stuck in offices and the like.

Throwing the bone for the dog I see two passing lights
Well, I wonder where that driver's bound
Is there someone, somewhere, someway out there that I've not found"

I was hunting the Sangres this morning around 12k. I can testify that there was a lot of snow. 3 inches and falling when we called the day. Not enough to ski quite yet though.

However, instead of more snow today as previously forecast, it's been nothing but sun, and now nothing but more sun forecast through Sunday.
