Has anyone been through the Rio Grande river crossing on the way up to Hunchback Pass recently? How are the flows and is it passable in a Tundra?
Where is the best river gauging station to view the flows above the Rio Grande Reservoir?
Thanks!

Re: Hunchback Pass TH / Rio Grande River Crossing
I went up West Ute Creek last weekend, which required fording the Rio Grande rather than driving across it. Was about knee deep. We ran into a family that was doing a backpacking loop and they were parked near Beartown, so its definitely passable. They didn't mention anything about the road conditions nor their vehicle, though.

I drove a stock 4Runner across the Rio Grande ford on Saturday with no issues.
